Both of these smartphones are dual SIM and targetted heavily at the budget friendly segment. The Micromax W092 is an affordable windows phone with 4 inch display and 1.2 GHz snapdragon 200 quad core processor. The RAM is been a core issue in many of the recently launched low end Lumia series smartphones suchas Lumia 520 and 525. With 1 GB of RAM being put in the Micromax W092, this device is surely gonna perform well. Apart from these hardware details, the phone has a 5 megapixel primary camera along with LED flash and 0.3 megapixel secondary camera for video calling. The phone has 8 GB of internal storage out of which I suspect 4.5GB should be available to the user. The 1500 mAh battery power will definitely provide a full one day battery backup which may not be the case with the android phones.

The Micromax W121 is surely gonna compete with the likes of Moto G. For the price tag of just Rs 9500, this phone offers way too much features. It comes up with 5 inch HD IPS display, 8 megapixel shooter along with LED flash, 2 megapixel secondary camera, 8 GB of inbuilt storage, ability to expand the storage via micro sd card, and the same 1.2 GHz Qualcomm snapdragon 200 processor. The 1 GB RAM could come very handy in running various games such as Subway surfers. This phone has got additional 500 mAh battery than the Micromax A092. This means it has 2000 mAh battery power which would surely last for a day or more.

With this two smartphones being launched in the Indian market, the company has surely got some attention. Micromax is the first Indian OEM manufacturer to launch the windows phone smartphone in India. Additionally, the Micromax W092 is the cheapest windows phone device available right now in India.

With such an aggressive pricing, the company would certainly attract large section of the Indian consumers.

PS: Both these phones will start retailing in the market from the next month and they do run on the windows phone 8.1.
