Karbonn Titanium Wind W4 listed on Amazon for Rs 5999

Micromax was first to try with Windows Phone platform and as expected Karbonn had joined the line up now. Amazon India listed all new Karbonn Titanium Wind W4 smartphone running on Windows Phone 8.1 OS at just 5,999 INR. Windows Phone OS got decent user base in India but they got limited smartphone models available in the market. So Karbonn is now trying its luck and the first thing they did well to help them is by keeping price so low. Let’s see what percent of pie Karbonn managed to grab with their attempt in this platform.

But let me tell you that this isn’t an Android phone rather a Windows Phone and the WP8.1 OS is good enough to work smoothly with 512MB RAM as well. So you don’t need to worry about if other features seem to be interesting.

The 4 inch of display makes it comfortable to use with single hand while the Dual SIM card support with 3G is another attractive factor. Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS are all in there and to offer a bit of photography, it got 5MP shooter on the back with VGA shooter at front.

Another good feature in this device is that its powered by Snapdragon 200 chipset which is well-known for its performance and battery life. The exact battery rating added inside isn’t known yet but as its Windows Phone so it can easily last for a single day with normal usage.

Microsoft is also offering 15GB of free OneDrive storage and they will be able to edit and create office documents on the go. So at 5,999 INR price tag, Karbonn is offering a better alternative if you’re looking to ditch Android or may be your featured phone.
