Xolo has announced the launch of Xolo Play 8X 1100 in Indian market which would feature an octa core processor likely to be manufactured by MediaTek. In addition to this launch, two more handsets namely Xolo Q700s plus and Xolo Q1000s plus have been spotted on the website. This directly implies that the company would be launching these duo as early as by next month.
Talking about the Xolo Play 8X 1100, the phone has got 5 inch full HD display. The details such as pixel per density aren’t clear yet but we suspect those to be around 300. The device is likely to run on 1.7 GHz octa-core MediaTek processor. Today’s announcement also clears out our doubt on the android version with which it will be shipped which will be Android 4.4 Kitkat. We are still unclear on the exact kitkat version. There is this 16 GB of on-board storage available to the user and it can also be expanded via Micro SD card. Apart from these regular specs, the phone will have 13 megapixel camera at the back and 5 megapixel camera in front.
The company has also revealed the price which will be around Rs 14999 for white color variant.
Xolo Play 8X 1100: Looks
Moving on to the two other smartphones which were spotted earlier on the website, one of them is targeted at low budget segment. The Xolo Q700s plus packs 4.5 inch FWVGA display along with 1.3 ghz MediaTek quad-core processor. The phone will also have 8 megapixel camera at back and VGA megapixel camera in front. There is going to be a dual SIM support and 1800 mAh battery which is expected to last for a complete day. The 1GB RAM and 8GB of internal memory would do justice to the device and if the internal memory isn’t sufficient, you can always use the micro SD card.
The Xolo Q700s plus will be retailing for Rs 8499, however, there is no particular date available regarding the release of this smartphone. Same is the matter with Xolo Q1000s plus which would be available for Rs 13999.
The Xolo Q1000s plus would come up with features similar to the Xolo Play 8X 1100. It has got 5 inch FWVGA display, 13 megapixel camera, 2 GB of RAM, 5 megapixel front shooter and 32 GB of internal storage. The phone will run on Android 4.2 jelly bean which is perhaps one of the major downside. Since the phone will ship with 32 GB of internal storage, there won’t be any micro SD card slot to expand memory.
