Motorola has finally made the decision to launch its premium designed Moto X in India. According to the reports, the device will be available in few weeks. This is perhaps the result of rocket sales and response that Moto G received from Indians just after the launch of the device. It was out of stock in less than 20 minutes as it went live at 12:00 AM. There’s no doubt in saying that Moto G is perhaps the best selling device for the company in India.
Like Moto G, Motorola will most probably launch the Moto X device exclusively on flipkart. There is no information on the pricing and availability of the device now. The Moto X is popular for its customization from Moto Maker, where customers can choose the colors and customize their device before buying it. The availability of Moto Maker in India is probably not in the charts but Motorola said to expand its availability to other countries in the second quarter of 2014.
Moto X in India – Specifications
Moto X comes with dual-core 1.7GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon processor coupled with four cores of Adreno 305 GPU. It also has one natural language processor core and one contextual computing core for better voice narrated actions and calculations. The device has gorgeous 4.7-inch 720p display and 1GB of RAM. It will come with 16GB/32GB of internal storage, 10 MP rear camera, 2 MP front camera and 2200 mAh battery. The device has already received KitKat update. So overall, it is nice package for Indian customers.
The device has only dual core CPU but it is nothing less than Moto G in terms of performance. It would be exciting to see Moto X in Indian market and Moto Maker might work as a sauce on the sandwich (or call it jelly on the ice cream 😉 ).
