In an another move to pacify the growing popularity of Moto E, the company today has listed and launched Micromax A105 Canvas Entice android smartphone in the Indian market. The prime focus is certainly on providing the latest Android Kitkat in this low budget price segment. After the remarkable success of the Micromax A106 Unite 2, the company seems so interested in packing up with price segment with its latest addition Canvas Entice.
This all new Micromax A105 Canvas Entice packs 12.5 cm screen size, 1.2 GHz quad-core processor, 5 megapixel autofocus rear camera along with LED flash and 0.3 megapixel front facing camera. The chipset is something that worries me because it is not the usual MediaTek or Snapdragon chipset. This one is Broadcomm chipset that is being used. Though the screen size and resolution is quite good, the battery might just fall short with just 1900 mAh power.
The device comes up with dual SIM support, USB connectivity, Bluetooth 4.0, WiFi and GPS availability. With 512 MB of RAM, the device has 4 GB of internal storage available out of which 600 MB will be available to the user to install apps while 1.65 GB will be available as a mass storage. The memory can further be expanded up to 32 GB using micro SD card.
Talking about the sensors, this device comes up with G-sensor and P/L sensor. There is no word on the pricing of this device yet but looking at the specifications and the pricing of the elder brother Unite 2, this device should be priced at arounr Rs 6000 to Rs 6500.
